Joseph Pechauer Custom Cues
Joe was born and raised to be a cuemaker. He began
working on cues with his father, Jerry,
and completed his first "solo" cue at the age of 12.
His career has been in partnership with Jerry helping
to build the J. Pechauer Custom Cue
reputation for impeccable quality.
As the Pechauer name continued to gain popularity as a
great value for serious pool
players, Joe felt an urge to show his skills by creating unique, one of
a kind cues with
intricate detail and exotic materials not normally seen in a Pechauer
cue.
Each cue is comprised of materials such as superior
Birds-eye Maple, Ebony or other
exotic woods to which hundreds of inlays are added. The inlays are made
of genuine
pre-ban Elephant Ivory, Sterling Silver, Malachite, Turquoise, Mother of
Pearl, Abalone,
Amboyna Burl, Snakewood, Holly and Pink Ivory.
The finishing touch is added using exotic wraps of
African Crocodile, Alligator,
Ostrich, Lizard, Llama, or Exotic wood.
As each cue nears completion, Joe authenticates it
with his Joseph Pechauer signature
and numbers it 1 of 1.
Joe makes no more than twelve of these collector pieces per year.
